Free Printable Tags: A Treat For Your Feet

Gifts are fun when they remind us of something else. When my Little Chefs were making their lists for Christmas one of them wanted to get mini tootsie rolls for our Little Man because he really likes them. I was quite impressed that she took the time to think about what each sibling liked. She came up with some very unique ideas. You do not need to like tootsie rolls to use these free printable tags.

Materials:

• pair of socks
• cellophane bag
• yarn/bakers twine/string
• free printable tags: A treat for your feet AND I like the way you roll
• 1 piece tissue paper
• tape
• scissors

Instructions:

1. Cut the closed end off your cellophane bag. You want both ends to be open. It should now look like a tube.
2. Cut a piece of tissue paper 1″ longer then your bag and the same width of your bag.
3. Slip the piece of tissue paper in your bag.
4. Fold your pair of socks small enough so that when place the socks inside the bag you have enough space to tie each side. I folded mine in thirds. Roll the socks into a tube and tape to hold in place. I didn’t roll the socks in the tube before I took the picture but it will be much easier later if you do this.
   
5. When you tie each side, make sure you pull the execess wrapping so that it is tight on the top side forming a tube. 
6. Print “A Treat for your Feet“. There are two per page. You can cut it the width of the page instead of following the lines if you think you didn’t roll it tight enough. You can always trim it later.
7. Tape one side of the printable to the back of the roll. Pull it tightly around the socks so it doesn’t slip off and tape again when it is fully wrapped.
8. Horray you did it!

I made these with festive Valentine socks for my Little Chefs. I’m sure they are going to love opening them up and wearing them to school on Valentine’s Day. I even got knee high socks because I thought they were so cute and can be worn under their boots, since we are all about boots now days!
