General Conference {FREE} Printable

Around this time I start to wonder “How I am going to keep my Little Chefs busy or engaged or willing to watch General Conference?” What is the best method? There are so many resources out there with different options and suggestions. (We have also shared a General Conference Packet previously.) I have found the best method is different for each of my girls. Their ages and abilities make it difficult to have one rule that fits all. I have come to realize that it is ok for each person to have different guidelines. I try hard to make those guidelines fair even though they are different. They are the ones who remind me, when she was my age she was able to do this. That’s ok. They can do that. It helps with my consistency and that is really what they mean when they say fair.

I have been trying to teach my Little Chefs that once you learn something you need to ACT. That means changing the behavior to try to be better. They don’t need to be perfect right out of the gate, but they do need to be trying to improve. General Conference is a great opportunity to learn new things or to be reminded and to decide to act to become a better person.

I created this FREE printable for my older girls. They are able to write the speakers name, then write down two things they learned. This ensures that they will listen for at least part of the time to fill in the blanks! Then they are able to choose one of those things and write down what they will do to ACT to become a better person because of their new knowledge.

We didn’t want to loose the papers so we cut them in half and stapled them in the corner. I put a cover sheet on the front and back. They will be able to color it as they choose while they are listening. General Conference Free Printable

I am a mom to Five Little Chefs who love to cook and create anything with their hands. Watching over 10 additional hands keeps me busy but is so much fun! We laugh and cry everyday, but then want to do it again the next day. That is how we know we are enjoying life!

I definitely have to modify our activities to the age levels! Love what you’ve created. Can’t wait for general conference! I shared some of our favorite ways to prepare over on my blog!
