I am a mom to Five Little Chefs who love to cook and create anything with their hands. Watching over 10 additional hands keeps me busy but is so much fun! We laugh and cry everyday, but then want to do it again the next day. That is how we know we are enjoying life!

Panda Face Food Art

My Little Chefs have always loved playing with their food. When they go through periods of not wanting lunch we change it up to make it seem different. We might use a lunch tray instead of a plate, deconstruct their sandwich, put things on a stick, anything out of the ordinary. We do the same for afternoon snacks when everyone gets home because it is fun, they are always hungry at that time. I thought it would be fun to make an after school snack using one of our favorite play foods, ...

Tie Dye Butterfly Shirt Embellishment

This is a sponsored post. I have been compensated by product or payment. All opinions and experiences are truthful and my own. This post contains paid links. School has been in for a month now, because we are on year round school. It seems like we are always worried about school clothes for one reason or another. With 5 kids I have plenty of shirts that look nice except for that stain on the front right where everyone can see it. I hate to get rid of a shirt like this so I let my kids ...

Ghost Falls Trail

The weather is warming up here and we have been anxious to start hiking. This is something we enjoy doing. My girls like discovering new things and as parents we like getting our kids active. At the beginning of the summer we take a few smaller hikes and then extend the distance as the summer progresses. Ghost Falls Trail has two trail heads. We took the longer trail which is about 3 miles round trip. It took us 2 hours round trip to complete this hike. My 3 year old walked all but 10 minutes! ...

Father’s Day Gum Wrapper

I have already told you my girls LOVE planning for holiday's. The day after Mother's Day they started planning an easy craft for Father's Day! One thing they all decided is that Dad likes gum. He always has a pack in his car, on his dresser and in his church bag. My three year old now shares the love of gum (much to my dismay) and knows where to search to get a piece when she wants one. Dad doesn't like this so he tries to remember to hide his gum. In honor of our Dad who loves gum I have ...

Mother’s Day (Kids) Free Printable

For the past couple years when I think about Mother's Day  and what I should post I always come to the same conclusion...I don't want to post a craft to make with the kids because then I have to (get the opportunity to) make it with them. But then they give it right back to me and I am required to act surprised. Not that I am not big surprises, but it just feels strange and not genuine to me. This year I have created a printable that even mom's can print for their kids and still be at least ...

How to make an easy Hummingbird Feeder for kids

Hummingbirds are so fun to watch. Making your own Hummingbird Feeder is actually a lot easier then I anticipated. It can be done with recycled containers! The next time you or your kids drink anything out of a plastic bottle that has a screw on cap keep it and put it aside for this project. The next time you eat something out of a short squatty plastic container with a lid keep it and put it aside for this project. Hummingbirds send out scouts at the beginning of May, two weeks before ...
