Funtopia

We had an opportunity with 3 of my Little Chefs to check out Funtopia located in Lehi, Utah. I love discovering new things to do in Utah. My girls had so much fun that the hour went by quicker then they wanted! That is how I know this place was a hit.

Funtopia is located in Lehi just a few blocks south of the roller mills. It is booked by the hour. I would recommend you reserving a spot. You will need to fill out a waiver which may be done ahead of time using their online form. The first 10 minutes is instruction and preparation. The remaining 50 minutes is for you to climb. That time will go by super fast!

How it works is your child will choose from 26 different climbing elements and activities. They will raise their hand and wait for an employee or parent who is allowed to clip them in to connect the balay rope to the harness. The type of carabiner used is tricky. It took me a while to get the hang of it. Once clipped in your child can climb up and down as much as they want unless someone is waiting. When they are finished they raise their hand again and wait for a parent or employee to unclip them.  Since I had 3 kids with me I was jumping from one to another the entire hour clipping them in and out, in and out.

They have a Parabolic Slide and a Jump In the Air Tower. Both are fun if your kids are daring enough to try it. They are able to have one turn on each. Additional opportunities may be purchased.

It is recommended for children 4 and older who weight 35 lbs or more. I believe kids will climb as high as they feel comfortable and that is what keeps them safe. Because Funtopia has an automatic balay system the weight is important.

They are currently open M-F from 4pm-9pm and Saturday from 10am-10pm.

Ask about their party room – they have 2!

My kids have asked since attending the first time if they can go again. This is a big indicator to me that they really enjoyed Funtopia. We will be visiting again.

I am a mom to Five Little Chefs who love to cook and create anything with their hands. Watching over 10 additional hands keeps me busy but is so much fun! We laugh and cry everyday, but then want to do it again the next day. That is how we know we are enjoying life!
