When I was younger I remember my mom making this monkey bread recipe on Christmas morning and as an occasional treat for other mornings. This is one of those easy recipes because all you do is dump the ingredients in a bundt pan. Let it rise over night and then bake it in the morning. I love making this recipe for my house guests. It has a big impact with minimal effort.
Monkey Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 20 frozen Rhodes rolls
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 small box cook and serve butterscotch pudding
- 1 stick butter or 1/2 cup
Directions:
- Spray a bundt pan thoroughly with a nonstick spray.
- Add in 20 frozen rolls.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of brown sugar and the cook and serve butterscotch pudding on top of the frozen rolls.
- Melt one stick of butter. Pour over the top of everything.
- Cover your bundt pan and let it sit on the counter overnight. The next morning this is what ours looked like.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Put the bundt pan on top. (Clean up will be so much easier just in case it drips over the pan.) Cook your sticky buns for 30-40 minutes.
- When the baking is done flip the bundt pan over on top of the parchment lined cookie sheet.
- Pull apart a roll and enjoy!
This is a great recipe that my youngest Little Chefs are easily able to assist. They are able to layer each of the ingredients without it needing to be absolutely perfect. If you want to start your kids cooking this Sticky Buns Recipe is perfect.

Oh those look insanely sinful~!! I am all for anything with butterscotch and we make our own so I wonder if you know how to make this a little less dump and go?? Would it turn out the same with whole ingredients or am I dreaming? (this is actually the case in 8 out of 10 times I try to make something using homemade ingredients…)
