Last week we shared some fun and easy Halloween ideas you could do for a school party or for a kids Halloween party at your home. We had the opportunity to try out a JELL-O JIGGLERS recipe perfect for Halloween, Creepy Crawly JIGGLERS. When I first saw these I was so excited because they are cute, easy enough kids can do and (besides the waiting time) they only have 20 minutes of prep time!

Little Chef D was overjoyed to make these but then her sisters quickly chimed in and wanted to help. They all agreed to let Little Chef D make the JIGGLERS, then everyone could make their own Creepy Crawly JIGGLERS. Little Chef D combined the boiling water with the mixed JELL-O Gelatin. She then stirred for 2 minutes.

We used the liquid measuring cup for ease of pouring and so we didn’t get another dish dirty. Little Chef D was afraid to pour the mix into the sprayed ice cube trays but I finally convinced her to try the middle few molds. She was successful and gained enough confidence that she was able to pour all the liquid into all the molds by herself!

After refrigerating for 3 hours it was time to have fun. We cut all the licorice pieces and got out all the parts so they easily accessible. The JIGGLERS came out of the molds very easily. Everyone worked on their own creature. Everything was easy to insert into the body.

This was such a fun activity. My Little Chefs are already thinking about ways to make more creatures. I predict this will be an annual event…they loved it that much! This is definitely going to be at our Halloween party either fully made or as an activity for the kids to create themselves. JIGGLERS are not only fun to make but also fun to eat!
