Sometimes toast needs a little something extra, a little something different then honey or jam or jelly. Cinnamon sugar is a good option. It is quick and easy to make but so is Raspberry Honey Butter.
Soften one stick of butter, add 3 ingredients, combine in a food processor and you are good to go! It is a great beginner recipe for your Little Chefs to practice measuring liquid ingredients. It only takes a few minutes so even those with shorter attention spans will be able to make it through this recipe.
In a food processor combine the softened butter, vegetable oil, raspberry syrup and honey.
Remember to keep your measuring cup all the way over the food processor bowl because when you pour it in some always drips down the side of the measuring cup making a mess.
Mix all ingredients until well blended. Watch carefully it mixes in very quickly.
Transfer to an air tight container and store in the refrigerator. Raspberry Honey Butter is a great addition to toast in the morning, for brunch, or if you like Breakfast for Dinner. If it is too hard to spread, leave it out for a few minutes on the counter and it will soften fairly quickly.
