Hi! It’s Jilly. I am SOOOOO excited to be guest posting on Five Little Chefs today!! I can’t wait to try her Cheddar Chicken & Potatoes, and the Brazilian Lemonade sounds divine! I love her family friendly blog and how the recipes cater to kids helping with the cooking.
I have seven-year old triplets at home, so I always have lots of little “helpers” in the kitchen!! Today I will be sharing with you a recipe for Mini Bagel Pizzas. They are a great thing to make with your kids because a) they are waaay easy, b) they come together pretty quickly, and c) the kids can do most of the prep work. Mini Bagel Pizzas Ingredients: 6 Mini Bagels 2 cups of pizza/marinara/spaghetti sauce (give or take, depending on how generously you put it on) 3 cups mozzarella cheese, grated (again, can be more or less depending on how much you put on) Toppings of your choice. My kids’ favorite is bacon & pineapple. Directions: 1) Pull apart the bagels and lay them face up on a cookie sheet. 2) Spread sauce on top of each bagel. Why yes, that is a Lego creation on the table. I’m just keepin’ it real here, folks. 🙂 3) Top each bagel with grated cheese. 4) Add additional toppings, if desired. 5) Cook at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bottoms are golden brown & toasty. 6) Serve and enjoy! Thanks for letting me share this recipe with you! We had fun making them, and I hope your family has fun making them, too! And a BIG thank you goes out to Five Little Chefs for letting me guest post today! For more recipes, moving tips, organization tips, and other fun stuff, visit me at Hi! It’s Jilly. 🙂
